So what is “The Persistent Seeker”, besides the blog of some guy who probably shouldn’t have a blog? The title is inspired by the ancient practice of persistence hunting (where humans run their prey to exhaustion), some extreme Harry Potter nerdiness, 2 Chronicles 12:14 (“He did evil because he had not set his heart on seeking YHWH”), and general ideas about always being on the move.

At one time, I had this whole half-baked and wicked uncool story of “persistence seeking” and pursuing relationship with Jesus. But it just seemed dumb. I love Jesus. No need to wedge in any of my other interests.
